Biography

Dr. McIntosh joined the Fain Pulmonary Research Lab as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in October 2023. She completed her doctoral dissertation on "Eosinophilic Asthma Response to Therapy: 129Xe Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography" in 2023 from Western University. Her research interests encompass the development and implementation of CT and hyperpolarized 129-Xe MRI based biomarkers for image-guided interventions, therapy response and disease progression. Pulmonary disease interests include asthma, radiation-induced lung injury and long-COVID.
