X-Ray of a Lung

Sieren Lab

The Sieren Lab focuses on the use features from medical imaging (radiomics) and machine learning methods to improve lung cancer diagnosis. We also investigate how radiomics are impacted by image acquisition and/or cyclic biological variability.

Gerard Lab

The research mission of the Pulmonary Imaging and Computer Vision (PICV) Lab is to develop innovative artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for multimodal medical image processing to characterize physiological structure-function relationships. Specifically we specialize in studying pulmonary diseases using computed tomography (CT), dual-energy CT (DECT), photon-counting CT, and hyper-polarized gas magnetic resonance imaging (HG-MRI).

Fain Lab

The Fain Lab develops structural and functional pulmonary MRI techniques. Pulmonary MRI provides diverse contrast for evaluating pulmonary function including imaging of ventilation and gas exchange using 129Xe spectroscopic imaging.
