Jensen joined the APPIL as an undergraduate research assistant in April 2023. Under the guidance of PhD student Soheil Hosseini, he has dedicated his efforts to the semi-automated segmentation of pulmonary arterial trees and peripheral arterial branching.

Currently, Jensen is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Iowa. He aspires to attend medical school and advance his education with the goal of becoming a family practice physician.
