Jake joined APPIL under the mentorship of Professor Jessica Sieren as an undergraduate research assistant in 2022, and a PhD candidate/graduate research assistant starting in fall 2025. His research focuses on optimizing the utility of Photon Counting Detector Computed Tomography (PCD-CT) for quantitative lung structure assessment through optimized acquisition protocols and biomarker investigation.
